Reinventing The Wheel

For Midas, we developed a workflow to capture and trace the various tread elements with simple user-defined building blocks. Each section of the pattern is procedurally offset, wrapped, and fused together to form an end result that is easy to work with, heavily detailed, and precisely faithful to the actual product.
